About the Alliance
The Ag Defense Alliance is a broad coalition of growers, businesses, and other agriculture professionals who have come together to protect consumers, farmers, and crops against predatory and politically motivated regulatory overreach. With the combined efforts of more than a dozen national and state organizations and backed by attorneys general in 11 states, the coalition aims to keep glyphosate, a valuable tool for growers, from being listed under California's Proposition 65 restrictions.
The Ag Defense Alliance agrees with the worldwide scientific community and government regulatory agencies everywhere that glyphosate is safe for use, and that listing it under Prop 65 harms America's growers, placing them at a competitive disadvantage. This flawed regulatory decision could result in higher costs for farmers and consumers.
And no available product matches glyphosate with a comparable health and environmental safety profile.
